OMG SA WTF?
Posted on 10/30/2009
Most of us have a sense of what overpriced is, but sadly, whoever prices things at this Salvation Army doesn't. I've walked into Salvation Army with almost $20 store credit, ready to buy anything of mild interest that wasn't overpriced. After an hour of searching, I left with a tiny ceramic creamer, and $17 credit, astounded and a bit angry. The point of going to a dingy thrift store with piles of junk is to find a small treasure for a good price, not to buy damaged mediocre stuff for retail (or higher) prices! Every time I come here ( I live about 5 blocks away), I am sorely disappointed and swear I'll never come back. However, a friend just gave me THEIR store credit voucher for 49 dollars - because they hate it too. So here I go again... ready to find a bargain, and fairly certain I won't.
