DESCRIPTION

Owner Rodger Azadganian has pulled out all the stops with the second location of his trendy hair salon, strategically located next to Nordstrom in Bellevue Square. The space is a work of art. The exterior features two massive 18th century Chinese Elmwood doors with tiger-head door pulls. Giant Buddha heads from China and Indonesia gaze peacefully from either side of the doors. Inside is a reproduction painting by Belgian artist Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur De Merprès. The sensuous scene features four voluptuous women in a tropical setting.

Once inside, you’ll find a stunning, thousand-gallon aquarium filled with exotic fish including an uber-skinny Mexican Lookdown (you can see goldfish in his tummy after he eats). A barista works the espresso bar, and above him a DJ spins tracks from a suspended cage. Presiding over it all is a golden-seated Buddha from Burma perched high above the floor. The Enlightened One has a birds'-eye view of the business below.

With 36 stations, the enormous salon buzzes with activity and is filled with clients dressed in black kimonos with the Seven logo on back. Attractive black-clad stylists sporting unspeakably hip haircuts mix color, highlight and snip tresses. Their forté is cutting hair to complement bone structure and coloring hair to enhance skin and eye color. With more than 20 years in the business, Azadganian is relentless in training stylists to his standards. He’s also sought perfection in hair products and naturally decided to create his own line of Seven products, due to hit shelves this year.

Go see Cher!5
Posted on 05/15/2008
For an excellent haircut, you must go see my stylist Cher at Seven, downtown Pacific Place. Fabulous woman. Bright, stylish, entertaining, professional! She immediately appraised the shape of my face, the texture of my hair, and my personal style, and gave me a fantastic haircut. She even worked around my difficult cowlick- a first for me. Definitely five stars- for her and the salon! The new location is sumptuous, very close attention to detail and very personal service!

It's Heaven at Seven!5

I went to Seven to get my hair colored and cut, and I have never felt more confident about a hair dresser before. As she was cutting my hair she taught me a lot about my own hair, and told me what to beware of when other people are cutting my hair. The hair cut was amazing, and she listened to exactly what I wanted, and made great suggestions, which I took. Seven is on the expensive side, but well worth every penny.

I'll Forgive Hair Cut Poorly, But Don't Lie to Me1
Posted by susano on 10/20/2006
I live in Alaska and made an appointment for a stylist I knew at Seven... I stayed two extra days in Seattle (rental car, hotel) for the appointment. He was sick. Another stylist, "L." cut my hair instead. She was more interested in that night's party and another customer. I sat alone in the chair a lot. She barely touched my hair. After she put a bunch of thickening stuff in my hair and blew it dry, I spoke up. I didn't want a bob and I wanted more care shown to my hair. Instead of listening, she lied. She said she "wasn't done," that she "always" put hair product in the hair before cutting. She then roughtly cut my dry hair and gave me a shorter bob that once washed was grossly uneven. I can forgive a bad haricut, even an expensive one. But don't lie to me.
