DESCRIPTION

Northeast of Seattle, past the University District, this multi-recreational 350-acre park is a destination for many. It boasts a mile-long stretch of Lake Washington shoreline and you will find a public boat launch for motorized and non-motorized boats, bicycle trails and a picnic area. Swimmers flock to this park which also features a playground and the city's largest off-leash area for dogs. The nine-acre off-leash area features water access, several open areas and a compact gravel trail suitable for wheelchairs.
