DESCRIPTION

They've literally rolled out the red carpet for brides in this full-service salon. A warm and friendly atmosphere in this long, skinny shop makes choosing a bridal gown a decidedly low-key, low-pressure affair. The walls are lined with dresses from high-end designers like Melissa Sweet, Birnbaum & Bullock, Judd Waddell, Lea Ann Belter, and Marisa Collection; bridesmaids will thank you for the smart formalwear selection that doesn't make them feel like they've just escaped from their junior prom.

Most dresses take four to five months to come in, but procrastinators can take heart: there is an ample selection of off-the-rack numbers year round.

TIP: Get on the mailing list to find out about big sales in June and January.

The Bridal Garden is definitely a full service salon if there ever was one. I am a full time student who also works full time and spends whatever free time I have in the car, in class or in meetings. I wasn't really enthusiastic about purchasing a wedding gown at all. Realizing my time was getting near, I made an appointment at the bridal garden. That was the best decision i've ever made. From the moment I stepped in for my first appointment they made everything so easy for me that i'm eager to go back and feel stress free for those moments once again. They helped me find my perfect dress, they helped all my bridesmaids with ease (and these are tough girls). I got everything there from gown to undergarments to accessories. Every bride deserves this kind of positive enthusiasm and genuine care for their most special day.

As a bridesmaid in a wedding, I had to go to the Bridal Garden to get my dress. It was awful from the beginning. They are rude, snotty, and unhelpful. While trying dresses on and using the powerful clamps to make dresses that were too large fit, one of the employees clamped my skin and it was really painful. She barely acknowledged her mistake. When you call to ask a question they treat you like you are an idiot. There are no pleaseantries like "'have a good day" or " we look forward to seeing you." Mostly you are just made to feel like you are wasting their time and that you should hurry up. Maybe they are nicer to their brides, but they are certainly not nice to attendants and should perhaps take notes from friendlier stores such as "I Do Bridal" in Wallingford. Stay away from Bridal Garden!
