DESCRIPTION

It’s easy to feel comfortable in this intimate neighborhood wine shop. First of all, the Cellar really is a cellar. It’s kind of like what you might do to your basement if you only had the time and money. Exposed pipes and beams enhance the ambience while the track lighting and original art on the walls lend a bit of a gallery feel. The complete lack of pretense in the room just makes it cozy -- this is no place for wine snobs. And like any wine merchant worth its pinot, a walk around the racks is a world tour. But what makes MLWC so special is the depth and breadth of the journey in such an intimate space. Insider tip: This is a shop frequented by people in the industry (like a diner patronized by chefs).

Don’t miss Thursday “church,” as the neighborhood faithful call the weekly wine tasting. MLWC also offers a wide range of classes, custom labels and event planning. Dogs are welcome.
