Fashion week means different things to different cities. New York
famously hosts a series of runway shows put on by individual designers.
Portland and Seattle invite designers to participate in collaborative
shows. In Bellevue, stores at The Bellevue Collection (Bellevue Square, Bellevue Place and Lincoln Square)
produce a weeklong fashion extravaganza (now in its fourth year). This
year the event runs from Tuesday, Sept. 29 through Sunday, Oct. 4 and
benefits the Boys & Girls Club of Bellevue.
