I'll admit up front, bras weren't on my list of gear to review. After hearing from several female readers wanting more information, though, we sent out a team of women to check out the latest offerings. What they found is that, just like the women who wear them, not all bras are created equal. A trio of testers took the challenge to find the perfect bra for outdoors women. I'm a snow snob, even on snowshoes.
When I'm skiing, either inbounds at a ski area or telemarking in the backcountry, I prefer crisp, dry snow to wet, clumpy concrete-like snow. Likewise, when I'm snowshoeing, I prefer billowing powder to soggy westside snow. I like the way the snow crystals puff up around my shoes as I stride. I also like open forest with clear views.

The good, old incandescent bulb still dominates the marketplace, but the new kid on the lighting block is making serious inroads into the night. LED technology has taken the lead in popularity, at least in flashlights and headlamps.
