The retail behemoths of the Eastside strut their stuff during The Bellevue Collection Fashion Week '07 Sept. 14-22, nine days dedicated to fall fashion. The fun runs the high-style gamut, from major runway shows to a masquerade evening hosted by yoga clothier Lululemon (Sept. 18), complete with trapeze acts, healthy nibbles and henna artists. Events take place all week in and around Bellevue Square, Lincoln Square and Bellevue Place.

The new location on Capitol Hill is twice the size but still carries the same quality playthings -- Kettler scooters, push toys from Selecta and board games from local company the Matter Group -- as the previous location. Seattle’s fashion-forward will line up early Sunday, Sept. 16 for Thread, a jazzed-up sample sale complete with cocktails, DJs and artist exhibitions. Last year, more than 100 people queued up outside Fremont Studios for a chance to be among the first through the door -- the first 250 attendees receive a gift bag. This year, the bags' contents are reported to include swag from American Apparel and Vain.
