I have to admit, science usually bores me to tears. But I love the scientific studies that tell me chocolate and red wine are good for my health. So when Sweet Beauty founder Lisa Francoise told me chocolate was also good for my skin, I considered giving science a second chance.

While the ancient Greeks celebrated Mother's Day thousands of years ago, dads didn't have their own holiday until Father's Day was first celebrated in 1908. My mom is the kind of person who has a themed outfit for almost every holiday, and as much as I try to shake her influence, my closet boasts orange pants for Halloween (or Texas Longhorn football games), pink skirts for Easter and more green than one Irishman (or -woman) can handle. So it should come as no surprise that as the Fourth of July draws near, I find myself drawn to red, white and blue.
