I'm always excited to come across a new (or new to me) local designer, especially one who understands that women would like to be able to afford clothing made with organic fabrics and non-toxic dyes. We shop our conscious for food and transportation, why not clothing? That's my big thing, anyway

Madina Vadache has been designing feminine and elegant bridal and evening dresses using luxurious textiles since 1997. Her Spring 2009 line "Liquid Dreams" is her first ready-to-wear collection. Vadache was inspired by the naturally shimmering hues of the skyline and the cloudscapes of local artist Virginia Howlett.
