Rat City Rollergirls third-season schedule

February 21, 2007

This is the biggest season yet for Seattle's flat-track roller derby league: The rollergirls are moving into larger venues (including KeyArena and Qwest Field Event Center) and playing against more visiting teams (Denver, Austin, San Francisco and more). One thing hasn't changed, however: the fast-scoring, breakneck action.

Rat City Rollergirls Season 3, Bout 1

It begins. Last year's champs, the Sockit Wenches, will face Grave Danger, who beat the Wenches in last year's debut bout. Season 1 champs the Derby Liberation Front face the Throttle Rockets, who have had enough of standing in the DLF's long shadow.

Rat City Rollergirls Season 3, Bout 2

Grave Danger takes on the Throttle Rockets, while 2006 champs the Sockit Wenches face the travel team from New Mexico's Duke City Derby. The adobe will fly.

Rat City Rollergirls Season 3, Bout 3

The Sockit Wenches face the rolling revolutionaries of the Derby Liberation Front, while those groovin' ghoulies Grave Danger will attempt to ravage the very souls of Northern California's Bay Area Derby Girls.

Rat City Rollergirls Season 3, Bout 4

The Throttle Rockets and the Sockit Wenches collide in a high-speed battle royale, while the Derby Liberation Front takes on the pride of the Texas Rollergirls -- the Honky Tonk Heartbreakers. Remember the Alamo? This is bigger.

Rat City Rollergirls Season 3, Bout 5

It's an "Army of Darkness" situation as The Derby Liberation Front meets Grave Danger on unconsecrated ground. And the space race ramps up as the Throttle Rockets aim at the heart of Denver's travel team, the Mile High Club.

Would have been nice to include the dates of the bouts so we don't have to go to another web site.

I think that Grave Danger is the best team all a round. I love getting all the news about them. Great story!
