Full Tilt Ice Cream saved my life. I wouldn't have survived the 90-degree temperatures of last weekend without a pint of Full Tilt's Mexican Chocolate ice cream in my freezer. Oh sweet, chocolate-cinnamon nectar, I bow humbly to your melty remnants. Thank you.
I predict that Full Tilt, newly opened in the heart of White Center, is going to save a bunch of people this summer. While the shop's name is derived from the pinball machines in the back of the house, it's their artisan ice creams and paletas that will make their name. Once word gets out how freaking delicious Full Tilt's stuff is, people will come from every corner of Seattle to get their own pints of cold salvation.
I've tried three Full Tilt flavors so far, and every one of them is exceptional. There are probably better words to describe Full Tilt's Mexican Chocolate, Thai Tea and Blackberry Dark Chocolate than "yum" and "gaaah," but honestly, that's what I said. The taste of them transcends language.
Full Tilt also offers paletas, the Mexican popsicles I used to get as a kid, in flavors like mango chile, blackberry cinnamon and mint chocolate chip. They offer vegan options, and their sundaes look pretty great ...
Look, I'm losing objectivity here. It's hot outside and I'm nearly out of Mexican Chocolate. Let's just go get some ice cream, okay? I'll totally race you there. Yum. Gaaaaaaah.
