We Northwest parents are suckers for a good cup of joe. Probably because we were up all night, taking care of a bawling baby, teething toddler or sick kid.

So I love it whenever a kid-friendly coffee shop opens. Sure, we adore Mosaic -- but sometimes you gotta try new places.

Via the wonderful little Rainier Valley-focused blog The Rainier Valley Post, I saw that there's a new south-end cafe called Kwik Cup Espresso that opened back in January. Apparently, they serve lovely lattes alongside a little play area.
