Phuket has the bargain Thai that binds us to lower Queen Anne

Bring a ten-dollar bill and a hearty appetite for lunch

Phuket

Lara Ferroni

More info:

We love a bargain, and the lunch specials at lower Queen Anne's Phuket really get us smiling. For $8.99, you get a huge meal of salad, rice and your choice of two main dishes from a long list of great choices, including our favorite, the fragrant green curry with tender white-meat chicken. The curry sauce is thick with coconut milk, chock full of veggies like butter-soft eggplant, and spiced as hot or as mild as you desire.

What do you crave? Who makes the Thai food that drives you to distraction? Post a comment below and tell us about it.
