Roy's BBQ in Columbia City serves up a medal-worthy Georgia Gold sandwich

Freshly baked buns and a crunchy coleslaw kick make this one a winner

More info:

Our non-Seattleite friends love to regale us with tall tales of the best barbecue they've ever had -- always, of course, somewhere far from here. Seattle isn't exactly known for its barbecue joints, but we have some tales of our own thanks to Roy's BBQ, a tiny cafe tucked away in Columbia City. With fluffy buns from neighboring Columbia City Bakery, any of the meaty sandwiches are sure to please. But our favorite is the Georgia Gold ($6.25). Its pulled pork melts into a tangy mustard barbecue sauce and is piled high with coleslaw for an added crunch. It's without a doubt a sandwich to brag about.

What do you crave? Who makes the sandwich that drives you to distraction? Post a comment below and tell us about it.
