The Zig Zag Café mojito is Downtown's lime sublime
Scale the Pike Street Hillclimb for a refreshing summer reward

Seattle has finally passed into summer, and in doing so, has crossed the border into mojito season. As each glorious afternoon unfurls, there's nothing better than heading down the steps from the Pike Place Market and tucking yourself into the grotto-like patio at the Zig Zag Café for one of Murray Stenson's expertly crafted mojitos ($11). Perfectly muddled limes and mint are swirled with just the right amount of Bacardi Silver rum, simple syrup, crushed ice and fizz for a lightly sweet and utterly refreshing tipple. We can't imagine a better way to celebrate the late-setting sun.

Post a commentno rum in the mojito? that just seems wrong.
You're right. A mojito without the rum wouldn't be a mojito at all. Zig Zag's is made with Bacardi Silver.
