Weekend Highlights for Aug. 28-31
Bumbershoot, football and brunch at local bars

While you're kicking back this Labor Day weekend, Ryan Henry Ward will be out creating murals. He's well into his mission of painting 50 murals around Seattle; by now, there's probably one or two near you. If you have time between barbecues this weekend, see if you can't get a picture of one of those murals. Send it to us and we'll post it to the photo gallery for your neighborhood.

Beyond the weekend
Two veterans of Seattle's fringe theater scene, Mike Daisey and Reggie Watts, pool their considerable resources to explain the meaning of existence in "Frequently Asked Questions," Wednesday, Sept. 3 at Town Hall. If these guys can't make sense of it all, we're basically screwed.
On the following evening, the circus comes to town. The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, to be precise. The RB and BBC is an American institution and the first hit you get when you Google the word "circus," so you probably already know what to expect. Just pack up the kids and head to the Everett Events Center.
