Perfectly packaged perfume
Crazylibellule and the Poppies' perfume sticks are bold inside and out

I'm easily swayed by pretty packaging, so I was smitten with the playfully packaged solid perfume sticks from Crazylibellule and the Poppies, a fantastically named line from Sephora co-founder Isabelle Masson-Mandonnaud. Luckily, the goods inside live up to the gorgeous wrapping on the outside (and the fascinating name). The solid perfume sticks come in an array of wildly colored packages and equally distinctive scents.
Available at Olivine Atelier in Ballard, and online at La Creme Beauty, the Shanghaïjava collection layers unique combinations of ancient Eastern scents and florals, then wraps them up in boldly colored rice-paper tubes. The twist-up perfume scents are miniature (think nail-polish bottle), but very potent. A swipe of Lilas Spiritual (a lily-and-lilac medley) lasts well into the evening hours. Other options include a very woodsy Ananaz Imperial and a delectable Litchi Blossom in pretty fuchsia. At less than $20 a tube, you could easily purchase multiple scents and layer away.
