South Lake Union's Vida Wellness Spa just might be my favorite new spa. It scores big points for offering Ayurvedic treatments, an infrared sauna, three rooms for couples and a spacious but cozy fireplace-warmed lounge. Oh, and did I mention a great location? It's in the 200 Westlake complex, across the courtyard from the swanky Pan Pacific hotel and right upstairs from Whole Foods Market.

Formerly located on Seventh Avenue adjacent to the Grand Hyatt Hotel, trendsetting salon Seven has been a hair hot spot since 2003, boasting some of the most well-trained stylists and client-pleasing results in the city.

Their new digs can be found at the nearby Northcut Landing, just across the street from the open-air mall. According to owner Jessica Campbell, it was important to keep the spa in the same neighborhood, easing the transition for clientele.
