Butter London, the quickie nail salon that offers waterless manicures and pedicures at Sea-Tac Airport and Westlake Center, will open a third location Nov. 8 on the third floor of the Starbucks Center (2401 Utah Ave. S.). The salon will be open to the public Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Early-morning manicures and pedicures are a stroke of genius. Gone will be the lunchtime dilemma of gym vs. nail salon or the after-work conundrum of grocery store vs. nail salon. Working women in Sodo and beyond can now rise with the roosters -- and elbow their way past Starbucks employees, if necessary -- to achieve pretty hands and feet before ever setting foot at work.

Post a commentMy friend and I went to Butter London in Westlake Center about seven weeks ago. The manicure started peeling off both of our nails less than two days later and my fingernails were aching for days. Still to this day, my nails are brittle and peeling and I can’t grown them long. I usually have long strong nails and this is the first place that I have gone where a manicure has completely destroyed my nails! I can’t use my nails for anything right now and it’s completely embarassing how shoddy my nails look! My friend is having the same problem. I would NEVER recommend anyone to go to Butter London.
