The first time I visited Show Pony, owner Julie Merriman Wray had managed to fill the shop with incredible gifts, accessories, jewelry and one rack of clothing (mostly from Prairie Underground) in a way that made the tiny space feel spacious and not cluttered in the least.

On my next visit, the store felt equally controlled and well curated, but I did spy an additional rack of clothes and I commented to myself that this small storefront would not be big enough to contain the bounty of Wray's retail genius.

Sure enough, Show Pony is on the move to a bigger space. According to the Show Pony blog the new location is less than two blocks away from the previous one, at 702 N. 35th St. Wray tells me they're on schedule to open their doors today, Nov. 12.
