I recently learned that my aunt has breast cancer, so events like Save The Girls, which donates a portion of the proceeds to the Puget Sound Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Foundation have taken on a personal meaning for me and resonate even more than before.

Save The Girls is a unique event happening on Sunday, May 31 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Belltown’s Spitfire Grill. Custom-designed bras created by local business owners, fashionistas and people with ties to the breast cancer community will be modeled by breast cancer survivors and models. The clothing will be provided by Opal, shoes by Report, handbags by Clutch and jewelry by Rock Star Jewelry.

Tickets are $20 for general admission and $40 for VIP, which includes a swag bag valued at more than $300. There will be a raffle with incredible prizes including an overnight stay at Hotel Max, a Clutch handbag valued at $595, a 23-inch flat screen T.V. and a Gene Juarez Beauty Package valued at $330. Whew! Those are some crazy-good raffle items donated by some very generous peeps.

This event is 21 and over. Purchase tickets here.
