I always get nervous before a big sale -- like I should've trained harder, stretched more, recruited more friends to help fend off crazed shoppers. But the Crave Spring Market Party, from noon to 4 p.m. June 1 at Seattle Center's Fisher Pavilion, is nothing to stress about, particularly since there will be plenty of opportunities for pampering.

Peruse stalls of discounted clothes, accessories, bath and body products, and home decor from more than 50 local designers, spas and boutiques, like hip Fremont shops Horseshoe and Les Amis, downtown handbag boutique Clutch, University Village spa and boutique Spa Scotta, and organic chocolate spa and beauty product purveyor Sweet Beauty.

Get your sugar fix from Deanne Ederer Emmons' Wink Cupcakes -- try the red velvet cupcakes, signature lemon cupcakes with lemon frosting or chocolate cupcakes with chocolate ganache frosting (all $3 each) -- before checking out the local spas offering treatment samplers at discount prices, such as chair massages by Dreamclinic.

And don't forget to enter for a chance to win a style makeover with Darcey Howard from Lifestyled. New to this year's event is a networking forum, the Daisy Chain Connection Cafe, which will feature sessions hosted by local social networking groups.

Tickets ($15) are available online and at all participating vendors, or by calling 206-282-0173.

Hi Friends at NW Source!

We love what you recommend and thought you might want to check out our site, www.pedshoes.com. We have been in the shoe biz for ten years (of course, started in Seattle) and now are an online boutique only --- we ship all over the USA and internationally daily. Although we miss seeing our Seattle customers tremendously, the truth is that Seattle is our number ONE city that we ship to!! And it's more fun shopping from home anyway....no parking hassles and best of all, shopping with Ped online is fun, hassle free, and anytime....day or night!! Not to mention: NO SALES TAX + FREE SHIPPING + RETURNS ON ALL MERCHANDISE FOR REFUND.......

We offer nice deep selections of handcrafted shoes from US designer Cydwoq, Spain's Chie Mihara, Italy's Fiorentini + Baker, Roberto Del Carlo, Alberto Fermani, Coclico, Germany's Trippen; gorgeous and funky handbags from London's Orla Kiely; and stunning, handmade jewelry from our favorite Seattle stone expert Jamie Joseph; gorgeous socks from Japan's Antipast and felt jewelry from Switzerland based Karin Wagner....and so much more. We are even gearing up to carry clothing soon under "Ped Threads" on our website.

We still focus on smaller designers & customer service is our number one goal. It's important to follow our motto:

"Be sweet to your feet".

Our customers ofter chat with me, Dayna, by email or phone about fit, style and what's coming next from my travels in Europe. We will never forget our Northwest fans and do everything in our power to make sure they are still skipping around town in there favorite Ped shoes !

Thanks for your interest !
All the best,

Dayna @ PED
