Frugal fashionistas, rejoice: Having conquered the retail landscape in many less likely locations (Cleveland, anyone?), Swedish clothing purveyor H&M is finally coming to the Northwest.
Beginning this fall, Seattleites will have three stores to choose from: downtown at 520 Pike Street, in the former Abercrombie & Fitch space at University Village and the region's flagship location at Westfield Southcenter.
The IKEA of fashion unites high style with low budgets, outfitting men, women, teenagers and children. H&M's affordable lines have also included offerings from top designers such as Karl Lagerfeld and Stella McCartney (and don't forget that Madonna-designed track suit for your Saturday-morning latte run).
The flagship store is part of Westfield Southcenter's $240 million expansion, scheduled for completion this summer. H&M will occupy two floors and more than 25,000 square feet of shopping. That's a lot of runway fashions without the runaway prices.

Post a commentI used to live in England and when I did I shopped here! It's about time it got over here! The store has Target style prices with Express type clothes, at least it did when I lived in England, so yeah!
Was over in amsterdam last year i like the stores ..but i hope you don't have to pay for the toto....
They're going to expand Southcenter even more? Pretty soon it will file a petition to secede.
I was living in England for a while and although I've only recently moved back, I've already felt the loss of H&M keenly! It still has cheap prices and high-end designs, and now even more so with its recent designer collaborations and capsule collections. Hurrah!!
Woohoo! I shopped at them in amsterdam and berlin a few times on a trip, and brought back a bunch of clothes, very stylish! Only problem is now my outfits wont be so unique and stylish ;)
