La Ree Boutique
Old Bellevue gets new, high-end fashion spot

Eastsiders scored with the opening of La Ree Boutique, a new shop in Old Bellevue. And, Seattleites have a reason to brave the bridge. Owner Rachel Nov's sophisticated clothing boutique is geared toward fashionistas with discerning tastes.
Nov revamped a space just off of Main Street creating a boutique with singular style and exclusive labels. Here, modern industrial meets classic tradition. This unique combination makes for an interior of contrasting elements-rough hewn whitewashed wood ceilings oppose glossy black concrete floors. Neatly placed white river rocks form a stark border on the floor. A vintage sewing machine handed down from Nov's grandmother sits inches from ultra contemporary silk tops and dresses.
Nov chose the clothing and labels with equal consideration as the decor. You'll find everything from denim to event-worthy frocks by designers from Europe, Japan, Israel, and the United States. But all these hard-to-find labels and exclusive lines come at a price – Blue Girl by Blue Marine dresses ($300-$700), denim from Tsubi, Don Dop and Aristocrat ($285-$400), and luxe leather handbags by Aristolasia ($750-$1,200). There are some lower priced items such as T's by Zooey ($70), but they're the exception. Nov also offers jewelry by local designer Jamie Joseph. Joseph's stunning gemstone jewelry is the perfect complement to the fashion forward clothing collection.
