Capitol Hill shop Retail Therapy knows just the right cards to play to entice shoppers. On Nov. 13 at 7 p.m., owner Wazhma Samizay will host a girls' night out extravaganza, with yummy treats, sparkling beverages, a new shipment of clothes, shoes and jewelry, and to top it all off, an acoustic performance by Rob Marcus, a local musician who is, shall we say, easy on the eyes.
You'll find the latest coats and jackets from Skunk Funk, an innovative streetwear line from Spain that is making the move toward carbon neutrality; new shoes and boots from New York designer Miz Mooz; laser-cut wood earrings from local jewelry designer Molly M; and modern, geometric-shaped earrings made with silver and handmade paper by Tia.
I've saved the best bit of news for last: Buy any three items and the fourth is free! So leave the man in your life at home and head over to Capitol Hill for a night of snacks, music and shopping. Support your local economy, connect with like-minded women and get your holiday shopping done early.
