Stock up for summer at Kennedy & Kate
The Bainbridge Island boutique offers affordable warm-weather glamour

Memorial Day weekend found my friends and me shop-hopping on Bainbridge Island, and while I wouldn't call Bainbridge a shopping destination just yet, there were several standouts to be found. The unanimous favorite was just off the main road: the darling Kennedy & Kate, with its seriously cute stock of inexpensive accessories.
Assuming you are already headed over to the island, a stop in this pretty pink boutique is a perfect, inexpensive way to start building your summer wardrobe. Frosted acrylic bangle bracelets ($6) add a touch of whimsy to any summer look. Stunning three-tier necklaces in gold and silver for under $30 add glamour to the many summer dresses you should already be buying. If you haven't started building your stock, Kennedy & Kate has you covered with poplin wrap dresses from Tulle and breezy white eyelet smocks from Paul Frank (of Julius & Friends fame).
