After a month-long hiatus, Revival Home and Garden has reopened in their new Capitol Hill digs, on 12th between Pike and Pine streets.

Owner Leah Steen gave up over 3,000 square feet of space in Georgetown for a much smaller footprint on the Hill. But what she lost in space, she’s gaining in foot traffic, which is immeasurably more important in these tight times.

The store is much the same: jaw-droppingly cool vintage furniture, awesome statement-making home accessories and of course, Steen’s wicked twin senses of humor and style.

New to the shop is bedding by textile genius Rubie Green (ranging from $44 for a sham to over $250 for a duvet cover) and chic decorative candle sleeves for chandeliers from local company KaarsKoker.

A little room off to the side acts as a design studio, so Steen has a place to make plans to decorate my house from top to bottom someday.

A girl can dream. Yes indeedy, she can dream.
