My dogs will eat darn near anything -- grass, bark, cucumbers, dirt. So when I introduced them to Bit-O-Luv
dog treats and they gobbled them down in no time flat, I was still a
little skeptical. Since I couldn't completely trust my pups' palates, I
tried them myself, and I'm happy to say, they're delicious. Bit-o-Luv is a subsidiary of the Northwest's own Oberto Sausage Company.
Based in Kent, Oberto has been making premium beef jerky for 90 years,
and now they're bringing those same high standards to dog treats.

bowl at the most efficient feeding height for his pack of rescued pit
bulls and lone Pomeranian. His experiments soon grew into an
Everett-based business, These Creatures, that offers ergonomically correct feeders for furry friends of all sizes.

November is adopt-a-senior-pet month, so there's no time like the present to welcome an older dog or cat into your home. While there might be challenges, there are also many benefits to adopting a senior pet. Seattle pet photographer Emily Rieman has, in the last year, adopted two senior dogs -- Libby (now passed) and Lily -- from Seattle area shelters.

The line my daughter remembered this morning, from last night? "You have earned the new puppy that's coming with us to the White House."
