Scientist-turned-software-project-manager-turned-artist Anandi Raman Creath calls herself a geek at heart -- but we think these not-so-geeky custom dog tags are pretty cool. And, they're made right here in the Northwest (Redmond, to be exact).

Each tag is hand cut from a sheet of nickel silver, hand stamped, filed to remove sharp edges, then oxidized and polished to bring out the letters and designs. Tags are approximately 1.5-inches by 1.25-inches and can fit five lines of text. Plus, Anandi will donate $1 for each tag sold to the Humane Society.

Check out Anandi's custom dog tags here, along with her handmade jewelry and "geek magnets" (you'll just need to see those for yourself).
