Are Lunchbox Lab's burgers delicious? Yes, every bit of them. Are they unique? You better believe it. Are they heavy eating? Let me put it this way: It's a pure, sweet, juicy miracle that I'm even able to talk to you now. Some 18 hours after my trip to the Lab, I've still got the worst case of food coma known to humankind -- and I didn't even come close to finishing everything in front of me.

B.R. Guest restaurants, a partnership of Starwood Capital Group and restaurateur Stephen Hanson (whose Wikipedia entry, curiously enough, re-directs to that of Freddie Mercury), recently announced that their first West Coast restaurant, Ocean, will open in Seattle in 2009. Ocean will be the star dining establishment of the sustainability-minded 1 Hotel & Residences, now under construction at Second and Pike.
